The Membership Organization Dear Reiki Practitioner / teacher, We are happy to announce the opening of a membership organization, which would be affiliated to the International center for Reiki Training, U.S.A.This is the first registered Reiki membership organization of its kind in India with head quarters at Delhi (House No. 31, sector 28, Noida-201303). The members of this organization would be availing many facilities from the center. To be a member you should be from the lineage of William Lee Rand ( founder of Karuna Reiki) or should qualify the minimum standards set by the organization. While we honor all lineage, it is also necessary to maintain professional standards for our members. Here is a summary of all the benefits availed by our members. 1. First and for most you will be affiliated by The International center For Reiki Training (U.S.A). You will be getting an International membership certificate with a membership number. 2. Your name and phone number would be placed on the website of ICRT of India (www.reikiindia.org). So that people visiting the site can see the name and number and if required by them they can contact you. 3. ICRT of India has all the revised version’s of books and teaching manuals. All members would be getting a huge discount all products. Some products would be available in the market but some can only be bought from the center (eg. Posters, meditation tapes, teaching manuals etc.) 4. All members can purchase William’s teaching manuals from the ICRT of India at a discount. They are (Reiki I& II, ART, Master, Karuna I, II, I&II and Masters) along with the “The Reiki Class Tapes.” However, manuals can only be purchased by those who have taken a class from Mr. William Lee Rand or are in his lineage, this means the class they have taken contained the same subjects as William teaches and the same style etc. We request our members to give these manuals to their students because this will fulfill the requirements of membership. The Center will provide the teachers with the certificate signed by William and theirs along with the golden seal of the ICRT of Michigan, U.S.A. This way the teacher would be imparting quality and certified knowledge to his students. 5. A quarterly newsletter would be provided to members that would contain the latest news about Reiki from India and abroad. All members would also be requested to send in their articles, which would be left at the editor’s discretion. 6. Members would be given a discount on all events organized by the ICRT of India. 7. Members would have monthly meetings in their cities where they would try to target a goal and accomplish it or do research on. For example, spreading Reiki in hospitals, scientific research on Reiki, old age homes etc. where this art is most beneficial. 8. The development of a Reiki center where members can relax, receive Reiki sessions, exchange Reiki or receive Reiki training has been set up in Noida. This is free for members to come, visit, develop their practice and heal each other. They can hire it for holding classes for Rs 500/-. The hall will be raffled out free four times free each month to our members. Non members can also hire the hall for holding classes or workshops for Rs 1000 per day. 9. Membership fee is Rs. 1500/- annum or Rs. 7500/-. Reiki can be a great power for healing, peace and elimination of suffering. By joining together, we will be better able to encourage and support each other, to share ideas and to pool our resources.
